AWR have serviced and restored both my Omega De Ville and an Omega Seamaster that I'd just picked up. For the former, I had been quoted £500 from a local watchmaker for straight service on a cal. 620. Robin confirmed that this was an extortionate price and has been incredibly transparent with his own prices. Both the service on the De Ville and the service and case refinish on the Seamaster have been done to the highest standard. I wouldn't go anywhere else from now on.

Robin Armstrong has just serviced and repaired two vintage 9ct gold watches of mine, both of great sentimental value. My 1963 Omega cal 562 had developed date change and crown movement issues after it was serviced (expensively) by another company. My Jaquet Droz ETA 2783 which was a 21st birthday present was stopping intermittently and needed a new crown fitting flush with the case. Both watches were returned within 2-3 weeks with all issues rectified and keeping excellent time. Robin provided detailed information about the work required and the likely cost, which was very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending Armstrong Watch Repairs to service classic Omegas and other treasured vintage watches.

Robin replaced serviced my, much used, Omega Seamaster automatic and replaced the glass. There is an initial estimate provided and once the watch has been inspected there is a firm quote. The repair was completed within the timescale given and the communication was excellent throughout. I feel this is a great way to repair older watches rather than using a general watch repairer.

My vintage Omega watch is of huge sentimental value, having been a present from my mother to my late father in 1964. When it stopped working recently, I was quoted substantial sums by two firms to repair it, with one even questioning whether it was possible. I read the reviews for Robin online and decided to take a chance on sending the watch to him. He repaired it, serviced it and sent it back looking like new and in perfect working order, all within 8 days. His invoice was hundreds of pounds less than I had been quoted. His communication throughout was excellent and I really can’t recommend him highly enough - thank you Robin!

My watch had not been working for along time.Robin serviced the watch , added new date wheel , adjusted the strap ,all within budget .Also passed on some useful information about the watch.I would highly recommend this service.

Had my 1970s Omega serviced last year. The watch went from being 90 - 120 seconds out per day to now keeping very good time. Great simple easy to use service. I would 100% recommend to others

My 1970's Omega watch which is of sentimental value to me was sent for a service to Robin Armstrong for a service a few weeks ago and I admit I was slightly apprehensive when posting it off to them . There was no need for me to worry They did everything they said they would do and on the timescale they indicated.

My old watch (Omega Chronostop) bought in student days and stopped for the better part of 50 years had been sat in my drawer and I decided to get it working again. Initial contact, estimates, quotations after inspection and getting the job done was very quick and business like. I now have my fully serviced Omega back, looking great and ticking away as it did when I bought it. I considered the price very reasonable and if I had the need, I would use Armstrong Watch Repairs again.

I have been using AWR for a number of watches and I have to say that Robin provides and extremely competitive service compared to other watchmakers. Estimates are very accurate and communication is fantastic, you always know where you stand with your repair.
